Xiaomi Poco C75 5G Review – A Budget-Friendly 5G Powerhouse

Posted on January 28, 2025January 28, 2025 by Nilis Mawutin

The Xiaomi Poco C75 5G delivers impressive value for money, bringing reliable 5G connectivity, a large display, and long-lasting battery life to budget-conscious users. With a sleek design and practical features, it’s an excellent option for everyday use in the 5G era.

Design and Build: Practical and Durable

Weighing 212.4g with a slim 8.2mm thickness, the Poco C75 5G feels solid and durable in hand. Its modern design is available in three attractive colors—Aqua Bliss, Enchanted Green, and Silver Stardust—giving it a touch of sophistication. Despite its budget-friendly price, the phone has a polished finish that belies its affordability.

Display: Smooth and Sizable

The 6.88-inch IPS LCD display is a highlight, offering a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and animations. Though the 720 x 1640 pixel resolution isn’t the sharpest, the screen delivers decent clarity for media consumption, browsing, and gaming. With up to 600 nits (HBM) brightness, it performs well in most lighting conditions, including outdoors.

Performance: 5G-Ready and Efficient

The Poco C75 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset, offering efficient performance for day-to-day tasks. The 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM provide a smooth experience for multitasking and basic applications. Plus, the microSDXC dedicated card slot allows for easy storage expansion. Running on Android 14 with HyperOS, the device offers a clean interface and promises two major OS upgrades for future-proofing.

Camera: Basic but Reliable

The 50 MP main camera is capable of capturing sharp and detailed photos in good lighting, while the Auxiliary lens adds functionality. On the front, the 5 MP selfie camera is serviceable for video calls and casual selfies. While the camera system isn’t groundbreaking, it performs reliably for everyday photography.

Battery: Long-Lasting and Efficient

With its 5160 mAh battery, the Poco C75 5G provides excellent longevity, easily lasting a full day of moderate to heavy use. The 18W wired charging ensures convenient recharging, though it’s not the fastest available.
