Early Life
Jamiu Abiola Alapoowo, known as Honney-Jay, was born in Ondo State, Nigeria, with deep ancestral roots in Ikare Akoko. From a young age, he displayed a passion for problem-solving and learning. His foundational education began at St. Paul’s Anglican Primary School, Emure Ekiti, where he laid the academic groundwork for his future pursuits.
Education
Jamiu continued his journey at Albarikah Islamic Secondary School, Ikare Akoko, successfully obtaining his Junior WAEC. For his senior secondary education, he attended Victory College International (VCI), Ikare Akoko. Driven to advance in technology, Jamiu pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Ekiti State University (EKSU), where he is a fresh graduate.

As a self-taught learner, he experimented with basic computing, website design, and online tools—overcoming challenges and resource limitations through curiosity and drive. Recognizing a gap in robust digital solutions, Jamiu founded Honneymade Technologies (formerly known as Magicsoft), a fast-rising tech agency based in Akure, Ondo State. The company specializes in:
